Re: Republican Debate
Ooh, good question from a student who is now covered on his parents' insurance on "Obamacare".
Huntsman wants it to be a state-by-state matter.

Re: Republican Debate
Perry wants to combine Cain and Gingrich to make a VP running mate for himself.

Re: Republican Debate
I got my hair cut today.
A relatively new hairdresser... I've seen her about five or six times.
She always struck me as kinda cool, similar backgrounds.
But today we got to talking about jobs because I haven't been able to find work. Her husband has had trouble too. He's now working three part time jobs.
Anyhow, she kinda surprised me when she said that 'it's been three years now, what is Obama doing? It's time to stop blaming somebody else.'
I didn't say a word.
Maybe I should have. I could have reminded her how Reagan started the attack on the middle class.
Or that Reagan blamed Carter for everything for a solid eight years.
But I didn't.
I'm surprised she even brought it up after mentioning political and religious discussions in her shop.
I'm betting she's one of those Republican voters that are really Democrats.
Whatever. I won't see her for another several months.

I can tell you what he hasn't been doing. He hasn't been using the bully pulpit of the Presidency to dispel such ignorant memes.web_geek wrote:Anyhow, she kinda surprised me when she said that 'it's been three years now, what is Obama doing? It's time to stop blaming somebody else.'

Re: Republican Debate
They keep saying the answer to everything is to 'boost the economy' and 'creating jobs' but they never say how.

Re: Republican Debate
Romney - Obama has failed us. He doesn't know how to create jobs.
Really? He did just about everything you fuckwits asked for and you still attack him.
(Excuse me. I need to go vomit.)

Well, that was fun.
I'm off to go sit in a warm bath and sip some wine while I slit my wrists.

I went to a bar in Plainville, KS with my dad and played Texas Holdem for the first time. Missed the debate and only won two hands. I may look for it online tomorrow. Sounds like a train wreck - and everybody loves a good train wreck!

Re: Republican Debate
I just watched a video of last night, and while defending his telling the unemployed and poor to blame themselves, Herman Cain said, "Wall Street didn't put in failed economic policies, Wall Street didn't spend a trillion dollars that didn't do any good."
Sorry there, Herm, but I'm pretty sure Wall Street did EXACTLY those things.
